“… the spirit of the latihan is already in the self of everyone.”
Subud Britain is the national organisation for the spiritual community of Subud in England, Scotland and Wales.
There are over 1000 people in Subud Britain and around 50 meeting venues where people come together to practise the ‘latihan kejiwaan’ (spiritual training), a form of worship through surrender to the highest universal power — Almighty God. This is something every human being has the capacity to feel and experience.
Subud Britain is a member of the World Subud Association (WSA), a non-profit umbrella organisation representing Subud worldwide. Subud originated in Indonesia and has now spread to many countries. We welcome new members from 17 years and older. Subud is open to persons of all faiths and those who do not follow a religion. Subud members do not have to follow any belief or teaching in order to receive and practise the latihan kejiwaan. You can learn more about Subud and the latihan on this site.
If you are already a member do register to login to the members’ site, which has links showing latihan times for all groups and details of forthcoming events.
